Fit and finish is great.
This light body was finished with a Malkoff head and Modlite switch. It sits perfectly under an aiming device and locks in place like a vault. I've dealt with many weapon lights over the last 30+ years, and this is hands down the best made one I've encountered thus far. While the cost is higher than some of the other options out there, it's a complete package. No need for any additional mounting hardware, just loosen the screws, line it up, give them a twist and tighten down. Couldn't be easier! The one piece design with gusset is VERY strong and will not fail. There's a strong likelihood that something else will break before this light body does. Highly recommended for hard use applications. Using a push-button switch, there's no additional cables to contend with (other the the one on the aiming device). Functional, practical, and sufficient light for room clearing and targets out to 50-60 yards with the Malkoff head. Others may prefer the longer body for dual batteries and higher output. This is perfect for my needs.
