Unlike many charging handles that can be prone to malfunctions, every contour, material choice, and feature of the Puller has a reason. Reptilia set out to eliminate the common failure points found in other designs, so whether you’re wearing gloves, operating in full kit, or running a suppressed rifle, the Puller gives you the confidence to manipulate the weapon reliably and mitigate those typical issues.
At its core, the Puller is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, the same material trusted in aerospace and military applications. Each handle receives a MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hard anodized finish, offering superior wear resistance and corrosion protection. These details ensure that even after thousands of rounds, the Puller continues to perform smoothly.
A key part of the Puller’s durability lies in its use of heavy-duty coil pins rather than traditional roll pins. This upgrade minimizes wear over time and prevents loosening or failure after repeated use. Additionally, the stepped pin holes in the handle body keep those coil pins locked securely in place, a small but significant detail that eliminates one of the most common failure points in charging handle designs of roll pins backing out.

As more shooters run suppressors and other accessories, gas blowback has become an increasing concern. To address this, we increased the shoulder geometry of the Puller to help mitigate excess gas during suppressed fire. The charging handle’s low-profile, ambidextrous design also helps reduce snag points while still allowing fast, intuitive manipulation from either side of the rifle.
