REPTILIA CQG GRIPS: BUILT AROUND CONTROL

The grip is one of the few parts of a rifle the shooter maintains constant contact with. Its angle, shape, texture, and overall geometry directly influence how the rifle feels in the hand and how naturally the shooter can interact with it.

Reptilia approaches grip design the same way it approaches every component: start with the intended application, eliminate unnecessary material, and focus on the details that matter.

The result is the CQG™ family of grips, purpose-built around ergonomics, control, and modern rifle configurations.

DESIGNED FOR A HIGHER HAND POSITION

The CQG was developed specifically around compact rifles, SBRs, AR pistols, pistol-caliber carbines, and PDWs. Its more vertical grip angle encourages the shooter’s hand into a higher position on the rifle, while textured front and rear surfaces provide a secure interface.

Rather than simply shortening a traditional grip, the CQG was designed around the way compact rifles are commonly handled.

The geometry keeps the grip compact while providing a natural hand position behind the trigger. An enhanced beavertail supports the web of the hand and helps create a consistent interface with the receiver.

CQG™ STANDARD

The original CQG provides the foundation for the lineup.

Built from toughened and reinforced nylon, the grip weighs approximately 77 grams and is designed to fit AR-15, AR-10/SR-25, MCX, and FN SCAR-pattern platforms.

Its compact dimensions and more vertical angle make it particularly well suited to rifles where a traditional grip can feel unnecessarily long or angled.

The CQG is available in multiple colors, allowing the grip to integrate with a wide range of rifle configurations.

CQG™-NB: NO BEAVERTAIL

The CQG-NB takes the same core geometry and removes the beavertail from the thumb-web area.

The result is a grip with a more traditional, A2-style interface while retaining the CQG’s more vertical angle, compact dimensions, and textured surfaces.

For shooters who prefer less material behind the web of the hand, the CQG-NB provides an alternative without changing the fundamental CQG geometry.

At approximately 76 grams, it maintains the lightweight characteristics of the original CQG.

CQG™-L: MORE LENGTH

The CQG-L keeps the same fundamental design while adding 0.5 inches of length.

That additional length is intended for shooters with larger hands or those who prefer more grip surface beneath the hand.

The result is a slightly larger interface without abandoning the compact, vertical geometry that defines the CQG family.

At approximately 89 grams, the CQG-L remains a lightweight option for AR-pattern rifles and other compatible platforms.

CQG™-AK: BUILT FOR THE KALASHNIKOV

The CQG family extends beyond AR-pattern rifles with the CQG-AK, specifically designed for AK-pattern platforms.

The AK version uses a more vertical grip angle, enhanced beavertail geometry, and anti-slip texturing on the front and rear surfaces to encourage a higher hand position and provide greater control.

It is molded from reinforced nylon and manufactured in the USA, with color options including Black, FDE, Field Drab, and Grey.

CHOOSE THE GRIP AROUND THE RIFLE

The right grip isn’t necessarily the largest or most feature-heavy option.

It’s the one that works with the rifle, the shooter’s hand, and the intended application.

CQG™

Compact and versatile

The original CQG provides the standard configuration for shooters looking for a compact grip with a more vertical angle and enhanced beavertail.

CQG-NB™

Compact with no beavertail

The CQG-NB retains the CQG geometry while providing a cleaner interface around the thumb web.

CQG-L™

More length

The CQG-L adds 0.5 inches for larger hands or shooters who prefer additional grip surface.

CQG-AK™

Purpose-built for AK platforms

The CQG-AK brings the CQG design philosophy to Kalashnikov-pattern rifles.

BUILT FOR MODERN RIFLES

Modern rifles continue to evolve, and the way shooters configure and handle them has evolved with them.

Compact barrels, short receiver extensions, folding systems, PDWs, suppressors, lights, lasers, and other accessories all change how a rifle is handled.

A grip should complement that configuration rather than fight it.

That’s the purpose behind the CQG lineup.

Different hands. Different rifles. Different requirements.

The Reptilia grip lineup gives shooters the ability to choose the geometry that best fits the rifle they’re building and the way they intend to use it.

MADE IN THE USA

Reptilia grips are designed and manufactured in the USA using durable, reinforced nylon construction.

Every detail, from the grip angle and beavertail geometry to the texture and overall footprint, is intended to serve a purpose.

Compact by design. Purpose-built for control.
