Q: What is the torque specification for the clamp cross bolt?

Q: What is the torque specification for the ring caps?

A: We recommend 15 inch pounds, but refer to your scope owner’s manual, as the exact torque varies by brand and model. After setting proper eye relief and leveling your scope, tighten the ring cap screws in an “X” pattern, taking care to ensure the gap between the base and ring cap is even on both sides. Q: What is the largest objective diameter the 39mm AUS Mount can accept? 

A: 77mm.

Q: Is the AUS compatible with the Reptilia ROF Mounts?

A: Yes.

Q: Is the AUS compatible with Badger offset J-Arms?

A: No.

Q: Should I use LOCTITE® or other thread locker on the ring screws or cross bolt?

A: Yes, both are planned for release in 2022.
