The SADDLE name describes a simple idea: create a dedicated interface between a specific platform and optic, eliminating unnecessary height and extra mounting hardware.
For the Beretta shotgun mounts, that means a direct, low-profile solution designed around the 1301 and A300 receiver. Both shotgun SADDLE mounts are machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized to MIL-STD Type III specifications, weigh 23 grams, and are designed to provide a low co-witness with the factory Beretta iron sights.
For shooters running an enclosed-emitter optic with the ACRO footprint, this is the dedicated solution.
The mount is compatible with the Aimpoint ACRO P-1, P-2, and C-2, as well as the Steiner Optics MPS. It uses the screws supplied with the Beretta 1301 or A300 and positions the optic as low as possible on the shotgun.
The result is a streamlined optic setup without adding unnecessary bulk or height.
The 509T version brings the same low-profile approach to optics utilizing the Holosun HE509T footprint.
Compatible optics include the Holosun HS509T and the Holosun/Primary Arms® HE509-RD ACSS Vulcan Reticle. Like the ACRO version, it is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, weighs 23 grams, and is designed to maintain a low co-witness with the factory iron sights.
For 1301 and A300 owners, the choice comes down to optic footprint. The mounting philosophy remains the same: put the optic where it needs to be and remove everything that does not need to be there.
